Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is a popular Star Wars turn-based strategy mobile game that’s free to play. It will be coming soon to PC, with improved performance and cross-saving functionality. The team told me via email that they were able to increase the framerate to 60 frames per second, add anti-aliasing and implement higher resolution settings to allow players to take full advantage of high-end computers. The layout of the game has been adapted for PC.
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes was originally released for mobile devices in 2015. It has gained a large following since then. Since then, many players have emulated the game for PC. This will be its official release. The game’s improved graphics will be accompanied by mouse, keyboard and keybinding support (although “there is currently no controller support”). When playing for the first-time on PC, longtime players can also bring over all of their progress by linking their EA mobile account with their PC account. All future updates will be released on both platforms at once. According to the team, both PC and mobile versions will release updates simultaneously.
In May, the PC beta version will first be made available to mobile users before being opened up to more people. The developer said: “Those interested can go to the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes site, register for the EA App and link their accounts, then they’re ready to sign up. On the first day of registration, you can find a registration page on the site. You will receive an email invitation for the Closed beta.” Learn more about here .
