Final Fantasy XVI has been released on PlayStation 5 in June last year. It is now approaching its first anniversary. Creative Business Unit III, which is behind The Rising Tide and the PC release coming soon has brought Clive Rosfield to the other Final Fantasy, the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.
The new crossover between FFXIV & FFXVI allows players to make their Warrior of Light resemble Clive, and they can even sit on Torgal, his faithful dog. The crossover also includes a brand new storyline in FFXIV and orchestration roll collectibles that include songs from FFXVI. It even has a cute puppy Torgal Minion.
Square Enix has dubbed the crossover The Path Infernal. “At a conjunction of stars, the story begins” between FFXIV & FFXVI. The crossover has been live since yesterday, April 2nd. The questline that begins with “A Land on Fire” must be completed by Wednesday, May 8. You must have a Warrior Of Light at Level 50, and have already completed The Ultimate Weapon, the main questline of A Realm Reborn.
Then, go to Ul’Dah (X: 8, Y: 9,8) and accept Land on Fire to begin your journey with Clive.
This questline will give your Warrior of Light all the regalia of Clive. This includes the Metian Vest and Metian Guantlets as well as Metian Chausses and Metian Sollerets.
The Torgal Whistle allows you to mount a mature version of Torgal in FFXIV. You will also get the Torgal Pup Minion.
