Increases the Level Cap and Adds Sandstorms And Blizzards.
Arrowhead Game Studios released a patch to Helldivers 2 which increases the maximum level, introduces new hazards on planets, fixes bugs and much more. Patch 01.000.200 is live now and includes changes in missions, weapons, enemies and Helldivers. The update comes after , a March secret update that introduced flying terminid bug and , a nerf to the spawn rate of bugs on difficult difficulties.
The patch note reads: “Good morning, Helldivers.” Today, we’ve got a bigger update to help you in your liberation effort of our galaxy. We also have some environmental threats that need to be watched out for. “May Liberty lead your way.”
Helldivers will now be able to experience sandstorms or blizzards depending on the location they land. These new hazards are in addition to fire tornadoes, meteor showers and other environmental threats introduced last month into Helldivers 2.
Arrowhead also raised the maximum level from 50 to 150. Helldivers now have an extra 100 levels.
New balance adjustments should also make it easier to complete certain objectives.
Retrieve Essential Personnel
- The enemy spawn point was moved further from the goal to allow players more chance at defending it.
- The mission is easier to accomplish with fewer civillians.
Destroy command Bunkers
- The mission is now more challenging compared to previous missions.
- Now it can appear at difficulty 5 and above.
Operation Modifiers
- Reduce the effect of operations modifiers which increase cooldowns for stratagems and call-in times.
First, secondary, and support weapons
- Fixed charging issues. It will always charge 1s for a shot.
- Reduced distance of the Arc Thrower from 50m down to 35m
- Increased stagger force with the Arc Thrower
- Now Guard Dog restores the full amount of ammunition from the supply box.
- Damage increased by 30% for the Anti-Material Rifle
- Breaker Incendiary – Damage per bullet has increased to 20 from 15.
- The fire damage per tick has increased by 50 % (from all causes).
- The Liberator Penetrator now comes with a fully automatic mode.
- Increased damage of Dominator from 200 to 300.
- Increased stagger for Dominator
- Diligence counter Sniper: Increased armor penetration from medium to light.
- Reduced stagger.
- Reduced damage of Slugger from 280 points to 250.
- Reduced demolition power.
- Fixed armor penetration in Slugger menu.
- Fixed incorrect armor penetration labels in menu for Slugger Concussive Liberator Senator
- Increased the number of rockets that you can restore to your supply box from two to three.
- Increased the number missiles that you can restore to your supply box from 1.
- Heavy Machine Gun: The highest firing rate has been reduced to 950 rpm from the previous 1200.
Stratagems
- Patriot Exosuit: Rockets can now only penetrate the armor on direct contact.
Enemies
- Balance adjustments were made in the sizing of
- Chargers’ normal melee attacks now deal less damage to Exosuits.
- Bile Spewers and Nursing Spewer cause less destruction with their puke.
- Bile Titan cannot be shocked anymore.
- The bug-breaching sound of the shrieker is no more.
- The damage caused by shriekers who are already dead is now significantly reduced.
Helldivers
- Wearing heavy or medium armor will protect you better. You’ll take less damage, about 10% less than previously. Light and fortified commando armor remain unchanged.
The patch 01.000.200 includes a variety of bug fixes, changes to Ballistic Shield, and adjustments made to the tutorial. The team has listed all known bugs and issues in the patch notes.
