Dawntrail is the next expansion to Final Fantasy XIV and it will be released on July 2nd. A collector’s version of the game will also be released.
This $39.99 add-on takes you to Yok Tural, a tropical island, and features a brand new storyline. It also introduces two new classes, Pictomancer, and Viper, and raises the cap for the game’s level to 100. Dawntrail is available for all versions, including the Xbox Editions.
During PAX East, this weekend, FFXIV Director/Producer Naoki Yushida revealed the Dawntrail Digital Collector’s Edition as well as the physical Collector’s Box. What’s in each box?
Collector’s box ($155.00).
- Dawntrail Special Box
- A Viper Model that is Expertly Made (H 965cm, W 452cm, D 590cm/H 244.5cm, W 11cm and D 15cm).
- Map of Adventurers (16.53″x29.52″, 42cmx75cm).
- The Unending Journey Notebook (5.75″ x 4.33″)/15cm by 11cm
- Adventurer’s pen case (8.26″x9.44″/21cmx24cm).
Dawntrail Digital Collection Edition (55.99 $)
- Ark Mount is an item that can be found in-game.

The bundle containing the Digital Collector’s Edition, Collector’s Box and both costs $214.99. It only includes a code to play the Windows/Mac versions of Dawntrail.
The pre-orders of the collector’s and standard editions will begin on Tuesday, 26th March at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Certain retailers will give you the following bonus items in game: Azeyma’s Earrings and Wind-up Zidane Minon.
