The Animated Series was launched on Paramount + today. The series, based on Ark: Survival Evolved was announced in 2020 at The Game Awards. It had no release date and platform but now has its first six episodes in U.S.A. and Canada.
Helena Walker is a paleontologist, who finds herself on a mysterious and eerie island that’s home to dinosaurs and extinct animals. Helena Walker, a paleontologist who washes ashore a mysterious island brimming with dinosaurs and other extinct wildlife meets Bob, another survivor. She learns to survive in the strange land and encounters many threats. The first six seasons of the show are available now. However, the other seven will be released at a future date.
Cast members include Madeleine Madden (as well as Michelle Yeoh), Vin Diesel, Gerard Butler and David Tennant. Below is the trailer for this show.
Ark: Survival Ascended has a special event to mark this occasion. Players can unlock skins that are based on the characters of the animated show, and which mimic the art style. To unlock these skins, players must collect a set of “Dear Jane”, written by Bob’s character from the animated series. Helena, Bob Dodo and Scary The Parasaur will receive the first skins. The game will feature new notes every Tuesday and Thursday up until April 11th. Below is the video trailer.
We’re also still waiting for an update about the Ark 2,, which has been quiet since 2020. The game was first announced at The Game Awards. The game will launch at the end of this year. This animated series should be a good holdover for the big next game.
